Good value player
This is a good value for a blu-ray player with the new online features available such as Netflix, Pandora, and BD-Live. It is small and easy to install and setup. I use the HDMI output to my Samsung HDTV and the Optical Digital Audio output to my AV receiver. The Anynet+ feature is convenient which helps the Samsung components work together reducing button pushing. I hooked up an ethernet cable and easily got it online and setup with my pre-existing accounts with Netflix and Pandora. I've read BD-Live requires a USB 1GB flash drive. I have download cable modem speeds in 6MB/s range so the picture quality is very good from Netflix, I'd say equivalent to upconverted DVD quality. Audio quality from Pandora is also excellent and the commercial-free music service is supreme. Blu-ray DVDs look fantastic and upconverted standard DVDs look great too. This does not have the higher-end HQV chip to my knowledge. The face pushbutton interface is cool and has a high-tech feel to it. Load time is... Top to learn more

Finally a FAST stand alone
I bought one of these to replace a PS3 because I hated that it looked like a wart in my setup, had a loud fan, and could not bitstream. Finally there is a small blu-ray standalone that is fast, has a great picture and can bitstream advanced audio. It looks great in the rack and the netflix/pandora features are a nice bonus. I won't be missing the PS3 at all.BTW, it is known that a 1GB usb drive is needed for BD live enabled titles. If you do not have one installed, and are not internet connected BD-live titles will not play unless BD-Live is disabled under the settings. I don't know why it is enabled by default, but the couple of guys that had unplayable discs could have fixed that problem my disabling BD-Live or inserting a 1GB flash drive. A little research will yield a lot.Since the player is brand new (almost pre-release) there may be hiccups, but expect firmware to address them as they are found. I love Amazon!!
I lost my remote and there isn't a universal remote that will do an even half way good job with the controls of my blu-ray player so I checked Amazon. I was delighted to be able to order the original remote that came with the device and it works perfectly! The other nice thing was it was a really reasonable price and I recieved it before the time that was indicated. I love Amazon:)

Great Price!
We lost the OEM remote for our Blu-ray player and after much shopping I found the best deal with this one. I received a remote very quickly but the one I got was not the one ordered. When I contacted the seller, they replaced it with the correct one very quickly. I did have to pay for the shipping back, for the sellers mistake (not amazon's). The remote is exactly the same as the original and works great.

Skinny good performer
I got this one to replace my older i-Inc. monitor. It really is an improvement. Rich colors, really good contrast. I calibrated it (crudely, by using software called MCW). Really nice after calibration. One thing I did not like at all is how much side-illumination shows up. I guess those LEDs do need to be bright enough, but I never thought they would be THIS noticeable. It shows as a veil of dark gray around the perimeter of the screen. And when whatever on the screen is dark enough you will see it. Sometimes barely noticeable, sometimes annoyingly obvious. And one other thing. The power supply is a separate brick - like in the laptop. Plan on locating it behind the monitor, etc. Otherwise - a very nice monitor, no dead pixels, no other issues. Top to learn more

It worked with my TV
just wanted to let u know that the wireless adapter WIS12ABGNX worked perfectly with my UN40D6000SF Smart TV :) Just bought it and installed it and so far is working great... Samsung Wireless LAN Adaptor for Blu-Ray Player
I have the Samsung LN52A-650 LCD TV and the BD-P1600 Blu-Ray player. I have wireless internet access in my house. Initially, I had a real problem getting the BR player to connect to the internet. It would find my SSID but would not connect. When I set the configuration to manual and input all the requested information, it failed the Ping test. After hours of troubleshooting, I found a piece of information on the web, telling me that the SSID cannot have characters or spaces in the ID. I had spaces in the SSID name, so once I fixed that, it connected without a problem. I didn't need to buy a new wireless router. That seemed to be the leading fix for this problem for others on the web. However, I didn't want to go through the hassle of re-configuring a new wireless router nor did I wanted to spend the money on one. In the end, I didn't have to. Top to learn more

Are there better projectors out there for 2D content?Sure, for 4-10x the cost.Are there better projectors out there for 3D?Possibly, but nothing I know of under 5k+ and even those have more ghosting issues than the acer.So it all comes down to the Acer being an amazing value for the money.---Things I Love:1. Image quality is top notch for 720p2. Colors are excellent3. It is very bright even in eco mode (almost too bright for dark room)4. The high brightness helps 3d since glasses cut down some light.5. It is quiet in eco modeI wish it had:1. Faster colorwheel. I do see the DLP rainbow in every dark scene, and often even in brighter scenes.2. Bigger zoom lens. I can BARELY get it to fill my 106" screen at 12'3. Lens shift. I have a rear wall shelf mount @75" from the floor. I have to set the acer upside down on the shelf to make it fill... Cinema-style 3D in your own home!!
Ok, when I purchased this 720p/1080i projector, I had fully researched the item to be sure it would output Blu ray 3D and video gaming in 3D on a large 120" screen. It was a worthwhile investment. This projector, coupled with the Nvidia emitter/glasses, computer with a blu ray player and the right graphics card (check Nvidia website) and the right software- Arcsoft's Totalmedia, I now have near cinema sized 3D experiences at home- it does sound like a lot, but in the long run I spent less then 1/2 then I would have had I purchased the Panasonic, Sony or Samsung 3d tvs that are 1/2 the size of my screen. There is absolutely no ghosting, and all of the 3D Blu rays I have watched are amazing, Monsters vs Aliens, Coraline, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Grand Canyon Adventure and Ice Age 3. I am hoping the 3D Blu ray releases will pick up and there will be many more choices available.. In the meantime, Nvidia has 400 PC games that can be played in 3D- Left for Dead 2 , Batman... What's the best projector for 3D ?
I bought a PC last year with the nVidia 3d system, it came with a Samsung 22" monitor and it looks utterly fantastic.I instantly thought "I need a bigger display" so I went to nVidia's page to view compatible displays. The Optoma HD66 was and still is listed as being compatible ans supported. So I bought one...well guess what? it is neither compatible or currently supported.If you search the nvidia page you will find that if your HD66 was built before August of 2010 (that's right, August of 2010!) it WILL NOT WORK.I then called Optoma tech support and was told by the phone tech that in order for it to work, it had to be sent back to the factory for modification and that I would be responsible for the shipping.... I told the guy that that was outrageous and I would simply return it and get something that actually did work as advertised. In case your wondering, I purchased the Acer H5360 .. Do not move the Blu-ray Disc Player while a disc is being played as the disc may be scratched or broken, or the Blu-ray Disc Player’s internal parts may be damaged.
