It just works!
Perplexed. A keyboard and mouse combo designed for laptop, NOT the desktop. I did a double-take when I received this Logitech MK320 review unit and saw that Logitech's target market for this product is for the laptops/notebooks/netbooks. I recently purchased the , so was searching for a wireless mouse. I knew I would get a lot of use out of the mouse but questioned whether the keyboard would be of any use. After using it for a few weeks, I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised! Before getting to the review, I should note an error on Amazon's product page (that is correct in Logitech's documentation). The keyboard utilizes (2) AAA batteries while the mouse uses (1) AA battery. Logitech includes pre-installed alkaline batteries for both units... Top to learn more

4.5 stars - Good value, easiest set up ever and delivers on it's promises.
I went in to OfficeMax to buy the MK300, which I already own - and found that this new upgraded one was the only one available. Generally, I can barely tell what changes have been made in Logitech upgrades (I owned previous versions before the MK300, as well). But, this one truly surprised me. Here's the main changes, and ups and downs of it, to me:1) THE BEST SET UP EVER! PLUG IN THE FLASHDRIVE AND IT'S SET TO GO!There used to be a little button that you had to push on the mouse and key board to sync it with another attachment hooked to your computer, which was sometimes tricky. No more of that and no more having to load software.2) The flashdrive automatically sets up all your function keysUnlike previous versions and other ones, where I had to go in and assign the appropriate pages and programs to various keys - on this one everything automatically brings up the right pages for function keys. The downside is if you want to customize them to... Top to learn more

Great technology at a better price
Pros: Light weight, compact, full sized keys, iPad specific functions, easy setup, black color, mechanical sliding power button, great value.Cons: Flexes in center, power switch on top (instead of bottom). As "magical" as the iPad is, to be really productive with it you are going to need a keyboard. You'll probably gravitate to one of three solutions: Apple's iPad Dock with Keyboard, Apple's Bluetooth Keyboard, or this Targus bluetooth iPad keyboard. I have extensive experience with the former and will address them briefly before reviewing the Targus.Apple's iPad Keyboard Dock: This works well enough for the 1st generation iPad, but it suffers from two serious deficiencies. First, it has a stand built into it, making it less portable, and allowing only portrait mode (which is lame for email), while not allowing for an iPad case (not even the thin Apple case). Second, though it works well with the 1st gen iPad, it is extremely difficult to get...

Super Easy Set-Up, Helpful SmartKeys, Quailty Feel !
~First, the technicals on my side : I tested this keyboard with a first generation iPad, 32gb, WiFi/3g model. I used it on the notepad and playing a NYT crossword puzzle. I also used it to navigate around my device.Stated plainly, this is a great product and really enhanced the iPad's usability. I highly recommend this iPad accessory. The Set-up / Pairing the Keyboard to the iPad - It was VERY simple to set up and the four step directions were clear and easy to follow. Using the directions, the keyboard was quickly paired via BlueTooth to the iPad in, literally, just a few minutes - and that's from opening the packaging to actually using the keyboard. Nice!Pro's :1. Super easy and fast set-up. All you need is a pen to depress the pairing button on the back of the keyboard ( onetime, on initial discovery only ).2. The keyboard really does have a great feel to it. The keys are good sized and have a genuine tactile feedback. Typing is...

Targus Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard for iPad
Targus Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard for iPad AKB32US
Easy Set-Up The Targus Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard for Apple iPad 1 and 2 is a product that is practically ready to use right out of the box! All you need to do to get started is to press the pairing button on the back of the keyboard, and connect to your iPad 1 and iPad 2! Within just a few moments, you'll be using your keyboard!
Bluetooth Connectivity You can't get much more convenient than this. Bluetooth enables you to seamlessly connect to your iPad with a few easy steps.
Perfect Accessory Taking notes on a tablet can be challenging. No amount of 'touchscreen training' can beat using an actual keyboard in terms of ease of use and tactile feedback. Plus, this keyboard features 'scissor key' technology which is similar to the keys on any laptop and allows for an ideal typing experience.
Slim and Stowable Portability is essential when you're working on a tablet. Take control of your portable workstation with a keyboard that allows you to stow it quickly and easily into a backpack, messenger or case. With no wires to deal with, it's easy to just stow and go!
If you're taking lots of notes on an iPad or iPhone, this is handy
While the screen keyboard of the iPad is certainly easier to use than that of an iPhone, it isn't the best if you are typing a lot, such as taking notes or writing an article. For that, nothing beats a real keyboard, and the Targus Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard is a quite decent one.The keyboard itself is compact and lightweight, with large "chiclet" style plastic keys that are similar in appearance to what you'd find on a MacBook. As this keyboard is specialized for iPad and Mac, it has the Apple-specific option and command keys, plus a row of dedicated function keys that are mapped to Home, Search, start slideshow, audio controls and lock. It paired easily with both my iPad 2 and iPhone 3GS, but it can pair with only one device at a time. The feel of the keys is decent with good travel, again much like on a MacBook, and the layout and even the legend fonts match that of a MacBook. The only negative I found was that the center front of the keyboard was a bit...

Great keyboard
It's a bit smaller than Apple's wireless keyboard but still easy to type on. Comes with 2 AAA batteries. Has a physical on/off switch and also a button to push for paring. Would be great if it came in white color. Works great on my iPhone and PC.****Update Dec. 8****Since many people are asking: It works with any bluetooth enabled device that supports HID (which 99% of the devices out there supports already). I have tested it with iPad 2, iPhone 4S, Windows 7 laptop, Macbook Pro, Blackberry Playbook and Asus Transformer. Top to learn more
great keyboard-UPDATE
I just received this keyboard today and i love it. i am using the keyboard to type this review. i don't expect to test every function of this thing that quickly but will do any updates as needed. i love the bigger keys that it has compared to some of the other keyboards i have tried. it is really quiet and very thin. it does not come with any cover but that is not a big deal.i highly recommend this keyboard.UPDATE: I am still liking this keyboard a lot. I found a website that sells keyboard cases priced fairly reasonable and they are made well. the description reads that they are made for Apple bluetooth keyboards but it fits this one just fine.here is the link:[...] Top to learn more

GREAT little keyboard for use with smartphones & tablet computers
A few months ago I got my first smart phone and really HATE typing on glass. This small bluetooth keyboard was offered to me in the Vine newsletter and I picked it to see if I'd enjoy using it, and if it would fit easily in my briefcase. YES on both counts.Overall Size: 4.5 inches "deep" when sitting on a flat surface in front of you and about 10.5 inches "long." To visualize this, you could set two of those on on a sheet of 8.5" x 11.0" paper and have some white paper still showing.Size of Keys: Each of the main keys (A through z; 1 through 9; enter/return; shift; capslock; control; command)is almost exactly the same size as the top portion of the keys on my Thinkpad T420s laptop and the spacing between them is about the same. The only difference is that this little keyboard's keys have flat sides at a 90 degree angle to the tops of them whereas my laptop's keys have sides that slope down so that the bottoms of the keys almost touch each other. The F1... Top to learn more

From Hero to Zero and Back to Hero
I received the device last week and on day one, I loved it. It exceeded my expectations. Typing on it was a little better than what I do on my Blackberry Storm and the scrolling (while not perfect) was quite good. The back light was a terrific addition as I bought this to use in my theater room where often it is difficult to see much (other than the screen) which is why the back light was great in lighting up the keys.Right out of the box, I tried using it on my office computer - worked like a champ. When I got home, I tried using it on my laptop which was connected to my home theater projector - again, worked like a champ. Then came the problem... the next day the unit became completely unresponsive. I tried all the trouble shooting that I could think of and read on the manufacturer's website but nothing fixed the issue. I even tried using it in different locations on several different computers and still no fix. What I find odd is that the back light is no longer... Top to learn more

Solid device, great value, one or two minor flaws
I recently purchased this little gizmo for use with a Ubuntu media center setup using Boxee. I was getting tired of fighting with the outdated wireless keyboard and mouse combo I have and wanted something that would be able to mostly replace both input devices while also having a range well in excess of the 10-12ft I need between my couch and the computer.First of all, the good. Ubuntu had no problem with the device, it worked the very instant I plugged the wireless USB receiver into the computer. It was already charged when I received it, which was extra nice. It took me a moment to figure out that the receiver fits inside the device itself when you're not using it, which is a pretty clever design if you're planning on using it at different computers. Range is good; I'd say it's 95% reliable within 30ft, but drops off pretty rapidly around 35-40ft from the receiver. The available keys are good and make sense. The volume and playlist control buttons were... Top to learn more

Perfect HTPC mini keyboard
I learned about this keyboard several months ago when it was announced on Engadget, but at that time it was $90+ and only available from some shady mailorder sites. This is a TV remote control sized full keyboard with a touchpad.I finally ordered one from Amazon last week for $60. I got it very promptly - about 5 days.It looks exactly like the one in the photos. It's very thin and contains a rechargeable lithium battery. It has a mini USB receiver that hides in a compartment in the keyboard. The keyboard itself also has a micro USB jack for recharging either from a PC's USB jack or a USB charger (the keyboard itself didn't come with a charger). The touchpad works extremely well (better than your average laptop touchpad) and you also have keyboard arrows under the touchpad. There are HTPC controls along the top and just about any function a regular keyboard can do it can do via a function key - even CTRL-ALT-DEL. It's even got a back... Top to learn more

Well Worth $37.00!
I just recently received my iPhone Bluetooth keyboard two days ago and I can honestly say, of all the accecessories I have purchased for my iPhone this has to be the best investment I have made! Very convenient and easy to use. It does it exactly what it says it's supposed to and it came in only 2 business days from the time I ordered it. You can't beat speedy service like that. For me it is easier to not use it... maybe it will work well for you
What I liked: - Paired easily and quickly with my iPhone 4. - Has a well built look and a solid feel. - Snaps open and closed with a spring assist. - You get more screen area for things besides an on-screen keyboard. (True for any external keyboard.) - The price. What I didn't like: - The keys are very close together. I have average sized thumbs/fingers for a fairly large guy and it was difficult for me to reliably hit the correct key (and only the correct key). - The top row of keys, the numbers, are particularly difficult to use because there are so close to the edge of the case. - There's a 2-key sequence to switch between using this keyboard and the standard on-screen one. If you close the keyboard without hitting the sequence you won't be able to type anything without re-opening the keyboard first. - You lose the Auto Capitalize and "hitting space twice starts... Fantastic Mini Wireless Keyboard!
This product has been given to me as a review unit. It arrived about 3 days after it was sent from LaptopMate's warehouse. Took it out of the package, and I was presented with a nice looking green box, similar to Logitech's box design. The bottom of the box tells you about all the features of the keyboard. Upon opening the box, I was presented with the keyboard in its plastic bag, ready to be taken out and used. Under the pull-out tray, you get an instruction manual, and a mini USB cable for charging. The manual is well-written in English, with minor mistakes that shouldn't confuse too many people. The manual tells you the safety information, instructions on how to use the keyboard, and a small list of troubleshooting instructions in the back. The keyboard is well-built; the body is sturdy, and doesn't feel like it will fall apart easily. It is lightweight, and feels like only half the weight of a TV remote. On the sides, it has a mini USB port, the laser and its... Top to learn more

Eureka it works
I'm using this bluetooth mini keyboard to control an HP laptop connected via HDMI cable to my Sony Bravia large screen HDTV from my sofa 10 feet away. Now I don't have to get up to use the laptop keyboard, nor run a long HDMI cable to my TV, when I want to change websites streaming Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, and many other video websites I get online via Chrome, Explorer, Safari and Firefox browsers. I chose the bluetooth version of this mini keyboard over the standard 2.4G RF WI FI model because I already have other WI FI networks in my living room and I didn't want another RF device possibly interfering with those frequencies. My HP laptop has built in bluetooth so I don't have to use the USB dongle that comes with the mini keyboard. There is a good "how to set up" video for this device on You Tube. I don't use the tiny keys for typing other than a few letters to search for websites and check my email. I use a desktop iMac for normal computer tasks. The built in tracking pad in the Rii... I sold hundreds, if not thousands of those keyboards from Apple and IBM, and it got me reminiscing about the keyboards I have used. I prefer Apple's older keyboards too, because they stopped making their best keyboard. These keyboards are massive, and were intended to compete with IBM's famous Model M keyboard that first shipped in 1984. One keyboard stands out as exceptionally important to me. I have owned it for about 35 years, longer than any other keyboard. Gruber prefers the ancient Apple Extended Keyboard II that was first released in 1990 and discontinued in 1999. One of the few existing Apple 1 computers with a keyboard is in the Smithsonian Institution. I wanted an Apple 1 but it came with no keyboard, you had to make your own. So instead of the Apple 1, I bought a SOL-20 kit which came with a pre-assembled keyboard. John Gruber has been discussing (again) his preference for Apple's older keyboards. The first computer keyboard I ever used was an IBM 029 Key Punch.
