Great Features and Functions
This is a great keypad and calculator. I'm not sure why the other customer wasn't happy. The instructions are not very helpful though... When you're pairing this keypad with your computer you have to press the "Send" key on your keypad once you enter in the required numbers, not "enter" as the instructions says. After that then your "Cal/KP" button works great. Note: the "Cal/KP" button works only after pairing this keypad with your computer. The greatest function of this keypad is that you can turn off the keypad function using "Cal/KP" and use it as a normal calculator to do quick calculations then press "Send" to send the end number to your computer. It's hard to explain, but if you buy the keypad you'll really enjoy this function if you input a lot of numbers and calculations. Also, pressing "Cal/KP" doesn't disconnect it from your computer. It just turns off the keypad function so you can do calculations then press it again to turn back on the keypad...

Handy Piece of Technology
I have a Mac computer and as many know, Macs do not have a 10 key. I bought this product for that reason. Connection via bluetooth, this calculator is wonderful. It makes my work and data entry soooo much faster. And you can also use it as an individual calculator which is handy as well. Not only is it functional but it's sleek and pretty. Very simple and easy to use. Worth the $30.5 stars for speed of delivery and quality of product.

Great companion for the mac bluetooth keyboard
I've tried many keypads to use with my Mac Bluetooth keyboard. This is the best I could find.Pros:* The keys are big and feel like it's a part of the keyboard. Most of the other keypads are too small.* It looks great with the mac keyboard.* Sturdy construction* Can switch between keypad and calculator easily by pushing a button.* Rubber grips on the bottom* Mac compatibleCons:* Instructions are a little confusing.* Bluetooth connection was lost periodically the first three days, but seems to stay connected now.* Buttons require a bit more pressure than the keyboard, but you'll get used to it.

Vivitar 285HV or Sunpak 383 Super? Your Choice
I compared the 285HV with Sunpak 383 Super and I found out these differences and similiraties:1. Both are non-brand specific Manual/non-TTL auto flash for use in practically any camera with standard hotshoe.2. Both have the same Guide Number of 120.3. In Manual mode, they can slice their power output from 1/1 to 1/16th except that the 285HV is missing 1/8th.4. In non-TTL auto, the 285HV has four auto-aperture settings while the 383Super has only three.5. The 383Super can do vertical and horizontal bounce (swivel) while the 285HV can do vertical bounce only.6. The 285HV has zoom positions to cover 35mm, 50mm and 105mm focal length lenses. It also includs an extra-wide flash head adapter to cover 28mm focal length. The 383Super has no zoom position and can cover only 35mm focal length and up.7. I havent measured the sync voltage of the 383 Super but I am sure that the 285HV has a sync voltage of 6V DC as I measured it myself.8. The...

great flash for the money
Let's get to the bad stuff first:1) no swivel2) printed numbers on calculator dial may wear off or get scratched off (UPDATE: no, they haven't been scratched off yet by mes, but in the hands of heavy/pro users they might be. Bottom line, for casual use, the printed numbers are durable enough.)3) plastic foot may break4) sync cord, battery holder and AC adapter are hard to find in stores5) of course, no TTL, but we already knew thatOK, the good stuff (really good)1) very powerful, big grins on subjects after they hear the loud pop and see the light. This is one big gun.2) meter is surprisingly accurate3) zoom head and wide angle adapter4) generous auto range of 4 apertures, variable power settings of 1/2, 1/4 and 1/165) if you use flash as main source of light, don't shoot closeups with flash and have no need for TTL, this is all the flash you need (UPDATE: actually with the proper set up, you can even use...

Vivitar 285 Work-horse
I've been using Vivitar 283 and 285's for years now. I was introduced to the 285 when my backlight died on a Glamour shoot. The style my client wanted was an over exposed background to ad a haze around the subject through the softener1 filter. This required a powerful flash. The only store near the salon was a Carmen's camera and all they had in their used department was this old 285, the man in the store, a professional photographer himself, assured me that with a slave unit on the manual setting this flash would be powerful enough to do the job. He even had an SB-4 power supply and this little plastic display unit, which made a perfect little backlight stand! Not only did this flash recycle in time, it was powerful enough to do the job. This little flash even replaced my Metz for wedding work because of its compact size!I also noticed at the time that many other press photographers were leaving their Metz's at home too! For travelling and backpacking I bring my 283, which is...

As good as nay scope I have ever had, maybe better!
I am a very picky buyer and did alot of research before buying.I had narrowed it down to a Leupold or Nikon. After visiting Nikon.com and watching the videos I was convinced this was designed for serious hunters.I looked at local shops and they wanted $299-$349. When I found it for $202 on Amazon I jumped all over it. I received it in two days, could not believe the clarity, light and design. I bought the BDC model, so I can make those long shots with confidence. This is a very nice scope that will be perfect for rifle deer hunters. You will need high scope rings because its 50MM objective.Got it mounted, bore sighted and went to range. At 100 yard shooting from a bag it took two shots to dial it in then it was a 1.5" Group for the next 3 shots. My buddy had a 3" group with his Leupold and he was sick. He picked up my rifle and immeditely said, Damn, i cannot believe the clarity, the eye relief is perfect, do you want to trade.. No Thanks!I could not be more pleased,...

Stop it.
Woah.... You gotta be kidding me right?I own a Leupy VX1 3-9X40 that has been my bench mark for years. I pretty much only shoot Rimfire Rifles at the moment and I do a lot of Night Shooting due to the pests coming out at night.I love my Leupy as its clarity and light gathering at night is excellent, but this little Beauty...Well...All I can say is WOW!Lets be fair though, It has a 50mm objective so it should catch the available light well and it does. The field of view is excellent and mix that with the BDC Reticle and this is a winning package. After some night shooting (CZ 452 .17Hm2), I duly took it out for an afternoon hunt. I am familiar with the "Nikon Spot On Ballistic Calculator" so I knew what to expect from this scope. Holdover is a dream with the Print Out Provided. Just Zero to what ever distance you like, pick your Ammo Brand and Calibre and away you go. The cheeky Magpie Sitting 171 Yd didn't stand a chance. It's gotta...

Nikon Inc Nikon Prostaff 3-9X50 Matte Bdc Reticle Top to learn more

Boasting Nikon's fully multicoated optical system and a huge 50mm objective lens, the tried-and-trusted ProStaff 3-9x50 riflescope keeps you hunting as late as possible. The scope's optical system transmits up to 98 percent of available light, ensuring maximum brightness in low-light, low-contrast hunting situations. To simplify field adjustments, Nikon also integrated a zero-reset turret into the riflescope. Just sight in as usual, lift the spring-loaded adjustment knob, rotate to your "zero," and re-engage. Field adjustments are now as simple as dialing in your subsequent ranges. And hunters will love the patented BDC reticle, which allows them to hold "dead on" at ranges exceeding those previously thought possible. The BDC's unique see-through ballistic circles offer an incredible advantage for long-range shooting, yet allow a normal sight picture for shorter-range shots where the crosshair itself is the aiming point.

Nothing boosts a shooter's level of confidence better than generous, constant eye relief, which is why Nikon provided 3.6 inches of eye relief in the ProStaff. No more rough kickback from heavy recoiling cartridges, lightweight rifles, severe shooting angles, and just plain excitement. Other features include a nitrogen-filled, O-ring-sealed housing that's waterproof and fogproof; support for an optional sunshade accessory for bright, rainy, or dusty conditions; and a quick-focus eyepiece. Offering enough power for the longest shots and a wide field of view for thick brush or timber, the ProStaff riflescope carries a lifetime warranty.

The ProStaff riflescope includes a BDC reticle with see-through ballistic circles.

Simple, big, efficient, and a great value to boot!
HI All,GREAT all around calculator which works well for a casual user as well as a business user. The display is large and the buttons are great for folks with large fingers. One great plus point is that it operates with both a built in battery and on solar power....so in case you cant get enough solar juice you are not out in the cold. It just works. The price is great and amazon shipping makes it even a better value.5/5

Best for basic Cost/Sell/Margin calculations.
The Cost/Sell/Margin implementation on this model is better than anything else in the market. Just one press of a button! Most others involve pressing two buttons before getting to the Cost/Sell/Margin answers. What sucks is the build quality. The keys go soft in a few weeks and the last one I had stopped working on some functions. Take two stars off for crappy build quality.

Camera Disks
The Nikon D200 is a very nice camera. Very nice, but difficult to learn to use. I purchased these to help with that. They work real well.
Top to learn more

Product Description

Depth-of-field (DOF) is more than a button on the front of a camera; it is a complex mathematical system that interweaves focal length, focusing distance and aperture. Many modern SLR/DSLR lenses no longer have complete or accurate DOF markings. So to aid photographers, this ExpoImaging ExpoAperture2 Depth-of-Field Guide gives shooters a full scale that can effectively be read with a single glance. To use the guide, one needs to select the sensor/film size anywhere from a 2x digital crop factor to 6x6 cm film - then a focal length ranging from 15mm to 135mm. The scale will compensate for the varying film/sensor sizes in relation to the selected aperture. When the parameters are chosen, the guide returns a range of apertures and the corresponding areas that will be rendered in focus for each f-stop. The ExpoAperture2 is compact and easily finds its home in just about any camera bag or pocket. This ExpoAperture2 includes a printed quick-start guide, a storage pouch and a sensor/film format reference chart. This version of the ExpoAperture2 is a two disc kit that includes a standard guide for 15-135mm lenses and a second disc for telephoto focal lengths from 70-600mm. Top to learn more

Handy Depth Of Field calculator For Nikon D80, & Other DSLRs
Since I received ExpoAperture Depth of Field combo pack and learned How to use them, my photography skills have improved. I am also impressed with the shot images I have been getting when using these guides. They have allowed me to improve the taking of better depth-of-field shots the first time. It moght take a moment of your time to work the dials to calculate and come up with the proper f/stop setting, but it saves time in the number shots you have to take to get it right the first time. Your PC time is reduced in clearing/correcting up your shots. You can also set the f/stop you want for your shot and calculate at what distance the depth-of-field will be sharp which allows you to determine if that's what you want to shoot at.It was not easy at first. The instructions I got with the order were on cards and to me limited. I went to the ExpoImaging site and printed the manual for myself. Studied it and carried out the instructions in different variables and...

not as useful as I thought it would be
It takes a little practice to figure out how to use these, but it is not difficult. The guides do only half of what is claimed: they are a guide to what is in focus, not what is out of focus. For creative control you need both.Say I am doing a product shot and want to capture the whole thing. Set a small aperture, check the guide, if it confirms I am covered, shoot, done.Shooting action and need to use the widest aperture possible but still get all in focus? Figure out what the range of distances are I need in focus, check the guide, set the aperture (if such aperture exists), shoot, done.Shooting something with a distracting background I want out of focus, but as much foreground as possible in focus? Check the guide, set aperture to the max that keeps the subject in focus, shoot... background is in focus too. It didn't tell me that. Not good.On the other hand, if a given small circle of confusion consistantly appears sharp, maybe a...

Lens Calculator

In addition to using a vari-focal lens calculator, a basic understanding of how a lens relates to a field of view helps when installing a new camera system. Vari-focal cameras come in a variety of styles including bullet cameras, dome cameras and tamper-resistant or vandal-proof types, such as the Digital Hi-Res Vandal Proof IR Dome Camera. These types of cameras differ from fixed lens cameras, which simply feature a lens that cannot be adjusted. Even with the flexibility afforded by a vari-focal camera, some people may need help determining how to properly set a camera for a desired field of view. When using a vari-focal surveillance camera, homeowners have the option of selecting a high millimeter setting for narrow viewing fields or a low millimeter setting for wider viewing fields. A vari-focal feature further comes in handy if a homeowner ever has cause to relocate a camera or simply feels the need to adjust a camera’s focus for whatever reason. A simple Internet search for a vari-focal lens calculator can help with this matter. A vari-focal camera can best be compared to a zoom camera feature which can be manually adjusted. When selecting a security camera to monitor a home or a business, it is important to have an idea of the field of view that a camera will need to have in order to be the most effective. Cameras featuring a vari-focal lens are suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
