Car Ground Loop Noise Begone!
My 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid had terrible problem with ground loop noise. It was unbearable that when I play music through the Aux jack while having the charger plugged in (any devices). There were "weeeezing" noises that drowned the music. I had to unplug my devices from the charger if I wanted to listen to clear music. This Kensington Noise Reducing device works wonder. 100% of the noise was gone. I hear no trace of ground loop noise playing music while charging my devices! The length of the cable is plenty for me. Well worth the money!

Works as advertised
Does what it claims, if you hear hissing or feedback when running your iPod (or, I presume, any other audio device) through your aux jack this should clear it up. In my case I use a Kensington LiquidAux running into a cassette adapter (my car predates aux jacks). I listen mainly to audiobooks and had an issue with clipping and distortion of the spoken high frequencies. Once I installed this between the cassette adapter and the LiquidAux, the problem disappeared. I also like the braided cord better than the usual plastic/vinyl cord you see, it feels sturdier. The only thing I would change is the length of the cord. I chose this device over the competing product by Griffin because the cord was 2' shorter - and even the 4' cord of this device is overkill for my setup. I have about 3' of extra cord coiled up inside my console. Of course depending on your situation maybe you need the extra cord, but I didn't. The other thing to remember is that you will likely need at least one...

Great trail cam
I have owned several diffferent trail cams over the past 5 years. Some good, some just fair, some bad. The battery life and the fire up response time to take a picture is very important. I recently purchased 2 of these bushnell trail cams. Both the battery life and the response time for the Bushnell are excellent. Battery life is awesome, and the trigger time is so quick I rarely miss a picture. I can honestly say this is the best trail cam I have ever owned.

2011 Model - Best trailcam on the market
II have three trailcams from Bushnell, two earlier models and this new one. This one is the 2011 model that has audio (not really important), a timer to take a picture (field scan), and can handle 32GB memory cards.I also own three other trail cams from Moultrie a M-60, I-40 and a D-50. I had a cuddleback two years ago, and it worked fine, but it got destroyed (tree fell on it). I do not own the new Moultrie M-100, which seems very similar to this Bushnell, but this is the first year for the M-100 and I bet they will have software issues. This is the 3rd year for Bushnell and they have this camera dialed-in very well. The biggest issue with my older Moultrie cams is battery life. They need feed 6 D cells about once a month. The price of the batteries start to add up, but mostly the issue is going out to a dead trailcam and wondering what pictures you missed. A battery life of 1-year for just 8 AA is great.Aside from battery life, all these...

Pleased in East Texas
I received this product and am very pleased. I've had a lot of luck with these small Bushnell cameras. Battery life is great and trigger speed is also quite good. For clarification, this IS the 2011 model with the field scan. Up to 8 Meg images. My only semi negative feedback would be that with field scan you can only set one time period, so if you are going to take images during the morning and evening periods you basically have to include the entire day or the entire night. The entire night would definitely wear down the batteries (IR flash). I imagine it is a simple software fix that Bushnell will put out in the future. I own Moultries at the same price point and far prefer my Bushnells. I simply can't choke out the cash for the Reconyx cameras. They are entirely too pricey to have a sufficient quantity of them to try to understand the deer herd on the size property where I hunt. I can get five Bushnells for the price of two Reconyx. My Bushnell from last season stood...

Donny Yankellow's MyMac.com Review
Do you need a remote for controlling slide shows and other presentations on your Mac, but you don't have a newer Mac that came with an Apple remote? Do you have an Apple remote for your computer, but it doesn't have enough features for your needs? If you answered yes to either of these questions, the Keyspan Presentation Remote Pro might be what you are looking for.The Presentation Remote Pro is packed full of features. The most important feature being that it will control your presentations. It controls Powerpoint presentations, Keynote presentation, iPhoto slideshows, Quicktime slideshows, and it even controls switching tracks in iTunes (I had to try, and it worked!). In addition to controlling the visual part of the presentation, it also has volume control buttons to remotely control the audio part of your presentation. For those who want to point out details on a presentation from a distance, it has a laser pointer. You can even black out the screen with the...

Great Remote! Tip for Mac/Keynote Users
This remote has been outstanding. Great range...super simple to use...great size. Here is a tip for Keynote users on the Mac. The remote is set up with non-programmable buttons, so the F5 button (designed for PowerPoint) doesn't work for starting your Keynote presentations...but it can. The trick is to change the keyboard shortcut in Keynote for Play Slideshow from cmd-option-P to F5. On Mac OS X v10.4+ you can go to System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse and then the Keyboard Shortcuts tab. Click on the + icon to add a new shortcut. Choose Keynote as the application*, 'Play Slideshow' as the Menu Title, and then when you get to the Keyboard Shortcut box, hit the F5 button on the remote and it should insert F5 in the box (making sure, of course, that the USB receiver is plugged in to your Mac). Click on Add and you're all set. The next time you launch Keynote the new mapping will be in effect and you can now use the F5 button on the remote to start your slideshow. Hold down...

Pretty Darned Good!
I'm fairly happy with this nice little product. The price was great, too. I've used for about two weeks now, and on a variety of computers. Every time, without fail, it starts right up without needing drivers or administrative access. It only takes about 5 seconds, and doesn't even prompt me.The response on the mouse control stick is good, but very sensitive. If you are using it to press buttons or manipulate pull-down menus, you better have good thumb-eye coordination. The remote control works fairly far away... at least 20 feet so far, and probably farther. I haven't had any issues with that thus far.The on/off switch on the side is a nice touch, as is the bright laser pointer. And I really like how the USB dongle slides into the controller when you travel. In all, this is a great product and does exactly what it's supposed to d in a very good way. And the price could not be beat.

hymns we sang in church
i grew up in a traditional presbyterian church that had a pipe organ. i wanted a cd of many of the hymns that we sang in church sung by a choir and accompanied by a pipe organ. this cd fulfilled my wishes perfectly. the hymns are performed in a very straight-forward fashion with no show-boating or excess flourishes which is exactly what i wanted. this is not gospel music but what i refer to as liturgical music to indicate that it is religious music but not gospel music. i would give it 5 stars but there is a slight hiss. other than that the recording quality is very good.

an extraordinary, vibrant set of songs for justice
Kim and Reggie and Magpie are some of the finest "folks" producing the "folk" genre these days! Their previous albums, both seperate and together, have mixed the best of traditional folks tunes, African-American spirituals, and multinational anthems with new and very fresh variations and harmonies. They are naturals together! Their songs carry the power of many cultures and they work very hard to tell the stories of these cultures through the songs. Whether it be the light and moving sounds of "Woke Up This Morning," calling attention to the plight of the Native Americans through "The Wind Won't Know Me There," or the humerous but poignant message about recycling in "Cash For Your Trash," Kim, Reggie, Terry, and Greg never fail to draw you into their passion for life, peace, love, and justice.

"Six Feet Under" the series is laid to rest, but the songs remain to be played
Help, I have done it againI have been here many times beforeHurt myself again todayAnd, the worst part is there's no-one else to blameHow many times will we have to listen to Sia Furler's "Breathe Me" before the end sequence of the haunting series finale of "Six Feet Under" is exorcised from our minds? At least listening to it on the "Six Feet Under, Volume 2: Everything Ends" soundtrack allows me to get away from being in front of the television and replaying the last five minutes of the final episode over and over again. Even though I fully appreciate the irony of having the final track being Imogen Heap's short and to the point, "I'm a Lonely Little Petunia In An Onion Patch," I feel like "Breathe Me" should be the final track on the album since it was the final song of the final episode. But then "Breathe Me" was also the music for the fifth and final season's trailer, so it does have a larger meaning. This soundtrack album begins with...

Great music from a great show!
I've been looking forward to the release of this CD for a long time, and now that I have it, I'm thrilled! The last "Six Feet Under" soundtrack was very good, but the second volume surpasses it. "Everything Ends" includes the songs that were used in the promos for Seasons 4 and 5: Nina Simone's "Feelin' Good" and Sia's "Breathe Me." The album also includes excellent new songs by some of today's most popular artists, including Jem, Interpol, and The Arcade Fire. (There's also a hidden bonus track...Imogen Heap singing "Lonely Little Petunia" from Season 4!) I should also mention the packaging of the CD itself: it comes in a little hardcover book that includes photographs taken from the show's opening credits. The image on the front cover is of Claire driving her trademark lime green hearse, a scene which was taken from the Season 5 trailer. The back cover has a close-up of Claire's hood ornament, which I'd never really noticed before...but it's so Claire!Pick up this CD as...

It seems an easy task to put together a CD for a series about a funeral home...pick some songs about death and make people smirk on topic for a moment before they toss it into the soundtrack graveyard. But this is not a disc to be tossed away. Six Feet Under: Everything Ends is a collection of music that feels exactly like the series: a floaty-bordering-on-surreal batch of greatness. The disc starts off with an underrated track from Nina Simone, the sultry "Feeling Good." Fans of Coldplay and Radiohead will certainly be familiar with their previously-released tunes ("A Rush of Blood to the Head" and "Lucky" respectively) but the best element of this disc is that it gives lesser-known, musically-similar artists a push. After all, finding Death Cab For Cutie's "Transatlanticism" and Sia's fragile "Breathe Me" on pop radio is, well...let's stick to the theme and use the "snowball's chance in hell" analogy. There are a host of great, previously unreleased and exclusive tracks on this CD: Jem's Dido-esque "Amazing Life," the Caesars' "Don't Fear The Reaper" cover, Interpol's discordant and dark "Direction" and Arcade Fire's wonderful "Cold Wind"--a whispered, frail, and beautiful soundscape, perfect to watch hearses off drive into sunsets by. Sorry to see the series ending, but at least there's this CD
Co-curated by the series' musical supervisors, KCRW DJ's Gary Calamar and Thomas Golubic, this 2nd soundtrack CD does an excellent job of capturing the show's offbeat introspectiveness and moody aesthetic. More than any other TV series, Six Feet has had me doing internet searches following most episodes to answer the question, "what was that song?" This CD does unveil a few of those mysterious voices, particularly the breathy Sia and the French electronic band Phoenix. There are also several more well known artists and songs, but they're ones that suit the show. Setting aside the ready availability of many of the songs elsewhere, it's just a well designed collection of music that is worth repeated listens. Anyway, one can never hear Coldplay's wonderful "Rush of Blood" too many times, eh?
