Perfect!
I was a little skeptical to purchase a clutch for my girlfriend's 2003 Eclipse GT on Amazon. But it was either this, or spend twice as much at my mechanic's shop to order it. So I gave it a shot, my mechanic installed it, and it works great! It ended up saving me $200 on parts! Labor still cost the same, obviously.Just keep in mind, usually a mechanic will honor some sort of warranty when they order AND install parts for you. But if you order the part yourself, and bring it to your mechanic to install it, they won't honor any sort of warranty. So if anything bad was to happen after you took it off the lot, you're on your own. We are lucky and haven't had any problems, so it worked out really well.I would recommend seeing how much your mechanic can order the part first, then research how much you can get it yourself. Then, it's a decision whether the money you save at first on parts, is worth the fact you won't have any sort of warranty from your mechanic if...

worth the wait
I was scared to buy a part on line but it was a crew decision. I saved close to $200! The clutch works great. It took the full amount of time to ship it but that was free! I will definitely look in here for more parts if I need them.

Exedy KMB02 clutch
For the price this clutch is a perfect oem replacement clutch, I had it installed with a lightweight flywheel. I haven't had any problems with it but I've only been breaking it in for the past cpl weeks since it needs 500 miles to break in. It feels the same as OEM, so if you need a new clutch this is a good choice. I put it in my 2001 Mits. eclipse GT and it cost $450 to have my local mechanic put it in. Its about a 5-6 hr job.
