Great underwater picture taking alternative
What a wonderful alternative to taking underwater pictures. No need to spend a couple hundred dollars on a underwater housing case or a few hundred for an camera specifically made for underwater. Also don't settle the the cheap one time use under water cameras. These cases allow you to take beautiful clear pictures using your own digital camera. I needed a waterproof case for my and since I already owned a Dicapac for a another brand of camera I knew there would be no other choice for me than the DicaPac brand. AWESOME, It worked Great
I bought this last month for a trip to Belize and Guatamala. My first use was on a river cave tubing trip, so it only got wet off and on, but took great pictures. I was hesitant when I went snorkling at the reef off of Belize, but WOW, I was able not only to take pictures, but able to switch over to video on my camera. It's not easy with the plastic, but it can be done. You can also see the screen on your camera when you are taking pictures. We went snorkling twice and I was in the water for a few hours, great product. My camera was safe and DRY all the time, no leakage.

Happy with the choice
I bought the product for my families first-time snorkeling/kayaking/beach outing last month. It was used with a Canon SD1000. The product was durable and kept the camera dry. Clarity of the photos was good, no visible haze on the pictures from the cover (either above of below the water). There was only one concern. While the lens opening was quite large - it was still important to position the camera carefully so that the black color is not vignetting the images on one side (maybe the 1000 is smaller than some of the other cameras it can accept). After a few shots I got the hang of it. My 14 year old daughter also didn't seem to have a problem after a few shots.Using it on the beach eliminated the worry of sand in the mechanism.We got a lot of shots we couldn't otherwise have taken without purchasing a $279 waterproof Olympus. Best Little Camera out there!!!
I'm a fan of Nikon cameras. After I dropped it, it broke. Was at a store checking it out another customer customer (a professional photographer whispered and said) I would be pleased with the Samsung "hands-down". I purchased the Samsung camera and I love it. Clearest picture out there for the category (price, etc.). Takes realistic pictures, without too light effect. Also the videos you take, looks like HD. Very clear and the sound is wonderful. The case is nice too, not cheap looking. It is so small and light, I carry it most of the time. The bundle is perfect for the price. Summary: if you're looking for a small (not too expensive) camera with great pictures, this one is it. Oh, one more thing, I was hesitant with the re-chargeable battery, but I'm very happy with that. good choice
I have always had Kodak digital cameras due to the ease of use. I recently spread my wings and bought the Samsung PL120 and love it. It takes some time getting used to all the features and I sometimes forget how to get back to a setting in time for a great picture but all in all I am very satisfied with the camera. It takes excellent pictures with lots of cool settings. The only thing it does not have that I liked on my other cameras is a panoramic stitching. I like taking wide scenery pictures. Instead I opted for the self portrait front screen and love it! I bought it on Amazon with a package deal and it was a great price.

Good rechargeable. A little pricey though.
I have owned several digital cameras, including numerous Olympi.I do Kite and Balloon Aerial Photography. The camera is usually several 100 feet above the ground and a pain to bring down to change out the batteries. So, I'm very concerned with battery life.Three of the Olympi have used the LI-12B. I still have three of these batteries (one is an aftermarket clone from Thomas Distributing) and two chargers. With my Stylus 410, I was able take about 300 pictures without flash and LCD display on one charger. The jury is still out on my new Stylus 800. I can't seem to turn off the LCD display on the 800. This sucks because the LCD is big (2.5") and probably draws alot of juice.All in all, it seems to last comparbly to the C123/dual-AAs in my Pentax Optio S55 but not as long as the four 2500mAh rechargeable AAs in the Canons.

Long Lasting Battery
I purchased extra batteries to use on my trip with the Olympus Stylus 800 digital camera. The batteries worked very well. I changed the battery in the camera after 200 shots, but hadn't seen the low battery warning yet. I probably could have gotten 400 shots out of each one. Take a few extra along for those remote trips, but you probably will need fewer than anticipated.

good battery.. doesn't take very long to recharge either
This rechargeable battery came with my Olympus C-50 5MP digital camera, and I'm quite satisfied with it and don't feel the need to buy a spare battery. I am not a photographer that goes out taking shots for hours on end, but I do occasionally go on picture-taking sprees on pretty days or party weekends. I haven't run into problems with the battery dying on me so far, and I've had this battery for almost 2 years now. If you know you're going to be taking a lot of pictures, leave home with a full battery and you should be fine.

Just Get It...You'll Love It!!!
I bought this for my Canon digital camera. The camera shoots photos up to 8Megs and does high-resolution video as well. I originally had a 256MB San Disk SD Card in there because that used to be considered a BIG memory card. It worked fine, but I was constantly pulling it out to dump the photos or videos onto my computer so I could take more. At an event where I was taking lots of photos, I would literally run off to dump the card and I would limit my use of the video since it takes a lot of memory.I finally bought this Kingston card because I saw it on sale. It works fine as well and I can't tell you how nice it is not to have to constantly be worried about whether I've got enough memory left and will miss a photo or video shot! This thing has so much memory that at times when I'd usually be thinking about dumping the data onto my computer I find I can still take hundreds of photos or lots of video (after all, it's about 10x more memory)! A good camera except in the sun
I bought this camera for several important occasions this summer. I took it to my son's officer school military graduation. All was fine until noontime on a sunny day when the squadrons were on parade. Trying to take pictures outside, I discovered all that I could see on the screen was my own reflection. I could not correctly aim the camera as the event unfolded. There is no viewfinder. I had pictures of the tops of peoples heads, the ground, etc, because I couldn't see what I was aiming at. Later I called Kodak. They suggested the beach setting, the snow setting, etc. Nothing made a difference outside in sunlight. I liked the camera very much, but because I take many pictures outside, I was forced to return it. If only Kodak would add a viewfinder like my previous Easyshare DX 4330 had. These batteries really last
I went with the Canon batteries & charger to avoid any problems with the Canon digital camera they are used for. Whenever I've used rechargeable batteries in an electronic device, they never seem to last long enough. So for the camera, I went with the same brand batteries. I've taken probably 100 photos, use the flash and zoom often, and had the camera on for almost two hours straight in a photography class and the batteries still don't show any loss of power with respect to the camera's battery status indicator. And since this kit comes with 4 batteries, I always have 2 charged spares. Maybe cheaper rechargeables would work, but it wasn't worth the risk and hassle if they failed right when I needed them.

I've bought NiMH (nicknamed Nim-Hah's) from Canon, Energizer, Radio Shack, & RayoVac. We use them in exactly the same way and with the same load everytime. So it's easy for us to tell which gives us the best performance.How we use them: dozens of flash pictures in a Canon digital cameraResults:The Canon batteries can recharge the flash diode 30-50% faster than the other brands we tried.The Canon batteries give us double or more snapshots before having to replace.Final Note: Some critiques will say that they can't see the difference in value for the higher price.
