From the supplier: The Chandler Unified School District in Chandler, AZ adopts a computer-assisted instructional program with the aid of a Hewlett-Packard 3000 Series 70 minicomputer. The district, encompassing 11 elementary schools, two junior highs and one high school, was overwhelmed with huge amounts of paperwork generated by an expanding curriculum. The computer-managed instruction system runs on H-P's 3000 Series 70 computer, which has 8M-bits of memory provided by two 7933 disk drives and one Eagle disk drive. Key software packages are: Student/3000 from Pertaine Systems Inc and CMI/3000 from Abacus Educational Systems Inc. The files are divided into district curriculum files, testing data files, test files, resources file and student mastery detail files.
