Awesome! Works great with my camcorder
I've used other products in the $200-$300 range and have never gotten the results I was looking for. This does just fine. The 900mhz signal is very good and does not distort. Your camera person can listen in using a headphone. Plus, there is an additional "mix" port on the receiver. You can actually plug two of these together for an interview setup, with no additional hardware needed. Make sure your camcorder has a mic input. Also, if your camcorder requires a powered mic, this works fine. I hope to upload a video review soon to show the quality. Top to learn more

Not that bad
It certainly isn't Hollywood quality, and I wouldn't use it for music. But for interviews, the sound works just fine, especially considering the price. My only real complaint is the clip for the lavalier. Unless you can slip it into a lapel hole, it will generally fall off if your subject moves more than a tiny bit.Bottom line: I'd buy it again for the kind of shooting I do. Top to learn more

Very happy with Azden
I'm a bit surprised at the reviewer who gave only three stars to this system and said in his title: "I haven't used this system." How can anyone rate it without using it?I've used this system for years and have gotten great sound. I've also used higher-priced wireless systems, and to my ear, there is no difference. Also, this cheap little Azden system is still going strong after some of the other brands bit the dust.I don't think wireless lav systems can get the great audio you get with a shotgun mic, a boom, and a sound person, but those things are just not in my budget.

For the price, you can't get better.
Seriously, this is a great wireless lavalier. I borrowed the Azden WMS-PRO from my college and used it for about a week. I have used more expensive brands and models that sound great, but for the price the Azden can't be beat! I will probably end up buying this one, but have been looking around for the best price on a different Azden model. I'm on a tight budget, so I will probably just go for the Azden WLX-PRO or the WMS-PRO. Azden makes great mics for the price.

Azden's WMS-PRO wireless microphone system offers untethered convenience and clear FM transmission from compact, unobtrusive components. The system consists of Azden's WM-PRO transmitter, WR-PRO receiver, EX-503 clip-on electret microphone, and EX-413 handheld microphone. Affix the electret microphone to your lapel or grasp the handheld mic, plug the mic cord into the transmitter, and away you go.
The transmitter and receiver operate in the VHF band, where interference is very low. Choose between 169.445 MHz and 170.245 MHz for the clearest transmission and reception. The transmitter and receiver each operates for about 10 continuous hours on a single 9V battery (not included).
The receiver comes with an attached shoe mount for mounting a video camera, which may be easily removed using a Philips-head screwdriver. You can also attach the receiver with the supplied Velcro strip. The receiver includes an output jack and a telescopic antenna. Plug the supplied earphone into the jack to monitor your recording, or plug the earphone into a camera's earphone jack.
The system conforms to Part 90 of FCC rules, and it's not to be used in high temperatures, high humidity, or near a broadcasting station, airport, or on an airplane.

best for this price
The Azden wireless mic system is good value for the the money.Out of the box and in operation in exactly 3 minutes. There was one thing that was a problem, but it wasn't the mic's problem, it was mine. I didn't read carefully enough to notice that it was a mono input jack on the receiver unit. My camcorder requires stereo input. I needed to buy an adapter to convert mono to stereo input, so sound was pumped into both channels. ($2 jack at RS)

Bluetooth Mic. System
The Sony Bluetooth mic system's functionality and ease-of-use is consistent with the quality of most Sony products. I use it in the legal profession and so far it has performed to my expectations. If there is a con or a down-side to this particular piece of equipment, I would say that it is the battery usage. I used it on three (3) separate occasions totalling about 4hrs on the same battery. There is a blinking red warning light on both pieces, but you have only a minute of two before it goes dead, so have fresh batteries close by. Top to learn more
good quality and features, short battery life!
This is a great product. The only two drawbacks are:* The mic's battery life is too short (about 30-45 minutes is the most I got out of a fresh new battery)* The size of the mic is a bit too big to hide on a subject. You can't avoid having it in the frame and the bright blue light is also not helping hiding it. Would be nice to have an option to attache a wired mic to it so you can have a small neck mic connected to the device and have the device clipped to the belt or something like it on the subject. Wireless Microphones: Audio-Technica ATR288W Review
Customer Video Review Length:: 2:16 MinsIf you are in the market for a wireless microphone setup for your video camera and like me, you don't want to spend top dollar. You may like the budget friendly Audio Technica Pro 88W/T setup. Listen in to the sound quality and judge for yourself.Comes with connectors that are compatible with most major cameras. 9v battery for the transmitter and receiver. I found no issues getting it to work with my Canon ZR-70. For practical purposes, the sound quality was as good as anything I've seen produced on the web where I know the audio equipment being used is of much higher caliber. This device seemed to hold its own and do a very good job providing close, crisp audio in a situation where it would be nice to roam free. The distance was not tested. I did not go 300 yards out to see how far it would go. Most videos I've done are in close proximity to the camera but would be detrimental without some kind of on-person audio setup. Having a... Exceptional Quality
Let me first say, I only give reviews for products that, in my opinion, are of exceptional quality. That being said, after receiving my Audio-Technica ATR288W Wireless Microphone System and putting it through various tests, I found the sound quality to be excellent. I have a Canon HV20 camcorder that has an extremely quiet motor. But, when making recordings (using the camcorder's built-in microphone) that had either low or no background sounds, I could hear the camcorder's motor when I played them back. The solution was to use an external microphone. When I connected the Audio-Technica ATR288W Wireless microphone system to my camcorder and made a recording with no background noise and played it back I was impressed. I did not detect any unwanted sounds, not even hissing sounds. All I heard was clean high fidelity sound! Top to learn more

Works Great, but you may need to change the SoundStation settings first
The Polycomm Wireless Lapel Microphone works as advertised - we can walk quite far away from the SoundStation 2 we use and callers can easily hear us over the lapel mic. Works great for company meetings when the room is filled with people, a bunch more have dialed in, and the speaker is wandering around the room.We had an initial problem where the receiver indicated it was receiving a signal from the wireless mic, but the microphone seemed not to be picking up any sound. It turned out to be a menu setting on the SoundStation 2 that needed to be changed: Go into the menu, select "Settings" > "Aux Audio" and make sure it's set to "Wireless Mic" then press "Save". Battery died after almost 3 weeks of daily use...
The battery died while I was using it today. Contacted Amazon for a refund and they will send UPS to pick it up tomorrow. This is my 4th purchase of this from different vendors and this has the best quality so far. The video and sound qualities were good. Unfortunately, the internal battery did not last long. There should be a way to replace the battery myself in case the warranty expires. Not comfortable if I will recommend this to buy. Another thing, I got this for $86 3 weeks ago and now it is on sale for $57 :(I might try the i-Kam extreme. Hopefully this will last longer...
